BEACH CLUB
In my solo personal project, I draw inspiration from the works of Hiroshi Nagai, a renowned artist. Taking on multiple roles as a modeler, texture artist, animator, and compositor, I aim to replicate Hiroshi's vibrant and sharp shading style using Blender, After Effects, and Procreate. The project centers around creating a 3D scene based on Hiroshi's iconic beach house painting. I incorporate 2D effects to maintain the city pop aesthetic, giving the project a unique visual appeal. The end result could potentially be utilized as a game asset or for real-time rendering purposes. Additionally, I plan to render a short animation featuring hand-drawn 2D characters created in Procreate, which will be seamlessly integrated using tracking techniques in After Effects. Through this experimental project, I aim to pay homage to Hiroshi Nagai's distinctive style while showcasing my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and compositing across various software platforms.
