VORTEX MOTION
My inspiration for this week’s project drew from an LA based architect who I had a privilege of doing a workshop with, Andrew Kovacs. His life long personal project called Archive of Affinities closely aligns with today's brief. He collects pieces of different toys or small models and collages into some thing else some times sculpture, installations or miniature megastructure.
In my own work, I have my own collections of building facades and shophouses in my phone and I want to play with its geometry and turn in something I never thought of and modifying its functions.
