HONGKONG
The inspiration for this project stemmed from my trip to Shamshuipo, a densely populated neighborhood in Hong Kong. During the trip, I captured detailed photographs of the iconic shophouse architecture. Upon returning to Thailand, I utilized Rhinoceros software, along with reference images and Google Maps, to create a 3D model of the space. The next step involved transforming the 3D model into isometric 2D construction lines. Using Adobe Illustrator, I employed the Live Paint feature to add color and detail to the isometric illustrations. The project holds various possibilities, ranging from standalone isometric illustrations to motion graphics. As a solo project, I was able to showcase my skills in both 3D modeling and illustration, while also capturing the essence of the unique architecture found in Hong Kong's bustling neighborhoods.
